Sophie was born in the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe and grew up in the city of Lyon, northwest of the Alps In France. She moved to the UK about 21 years ago to pursue her studies in beauty and holistic therapy. As well as an interest in acting.
From a very young age, Sophie received valuable, inspiring advice from her family circle in connection with an ethic respectful of the environment and Caribbean culture tradition, notably from my maternal grandparents. From this, Sophie developed an interest in the field of natural health and holistic therapy. With an ecological and sustainable commitment, this led her to explore and experiment making organic products based on natural ingredients (beauty creams and oils, etc.)
With her French, Caribbean and English upbringing, Sophie is fluent in French, British and French Sign Language (BSL and FSL) and English.
In Sophie’s free time, she enjoys being a part time dressmaker and spending time with friends and family.
Sophie is excited to be working alongside the team at the Float Spa and only accepts bookings from women for her treatments. Having visited the centre herself for several treatments, she has first hand experience of the great service they offer. With the advantage of Sophie being able to use BSL (British Sign Language) with her clients, she hopes this will enable more Deaf and hard of hearing customers to access the many treatments that she and the spa have to offer
